Murano also received the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety highest
ratings in the tests for frontal offset and side crash.
Special Features and Interior Design – The interior
cabin of the 2012 Nissan Murano boasts a space that is attractively
styled, and which also rivals that of the Infiniti FX in assembly and
quality of materials. This SUV also gets very high marks for its use of
innovative technological features such as: the iPod interface; video
entertainment setup for the rear seats; and its navigation system.
As stated before, the 2012 Nissan Murano
has seating for 5 passengers, and it also includes a backseat that has
abundant legroom and headroom; in addition to seatbacks that are capable
of reclining for greater comfort. Located behind the rear seats is
cargo room that measures approximately 31.6 cubic feet, which is
practically on the same level as most of the competitors of the Murano.
When you fold down the seatbacks of the rear seats, you will end up with
a flat load floor that is approximately 64 cubic feet of space. This
however is somewhat smaller than that of the space that is available in
other midsize SUVs that can seat 5 passengers.
